: I was 36 when I was dignosed with PA. I have monthly injections, and am maintaining a normal level. If the injections work, don't risk something that is new and maybe not as reliable. My son suffered permanent, irreversible brain damage due to B12 deficiency when he was an infant. I can see the damage this condition can do, I see it daily. Please, don't take any risks with your treatment. its not worth it!!!

Randy: My 13 year old son is having problems with anemia and I noticed on the opening page for PA there was a line about ADD. Does anyone have any information about this link? My son does not have the hyperactivity, only the attention deficit side of the disorder. He takes 20mg SR once a day, is this a contributing factor?
