: I've been on Iron Therapy for 3 months. No change is seen in my bloodwork. How long does it usually take to see improvement? I certainly don't feel any better.
: thanks.

Hi Deanna,
There are some types of Iron that are just not easy for some people to aborb. You should see a change in a month at least. Some foods interfears with aborption; beer, candy, soft drinks, dairy including ice cream, coffee, tea.Donot take calcium, antiacids, zinc, and vit-E ---these also mess with iron aborption(take at least 8 hrs apart).
I think you should try taking a tablespoon 2 times a day--- contains B vits& Iron and easily aborbed also relatively inexpensive.
Good Luck----Harry
