HI Mr.TreeFrog,
I sorry for not responding very timely but I don't visit this board often.
Grapeseed extract has a very unique flavonol in it that is absorbed readily. The substances are oligomeric proanthocyanidins(OPCs). Tests suggest that OPCs are 50 times stronger than Vitamin E and 20 times stronger than Vit C in relationship to their antioxidant activity(doing in free radicals). They also are moderate anti- inflammatory and allergy agents.I have read that they are used to repair connective tissue. OPCs are found in alot of foods and plants--- the 2 main sources are Grape seed extract and Pycnogenol (pine bark extract).
As you know Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver caused by a virus. It seem logical that an antioxidants would help.As you may know conventional medicine does not really treat viruses well if at all. This includes--colds, flu, mono an so on.Viruses are not considered living organisms since they do not reproduce on their on but reproduce in a living cell.
I have used homeopathic medicine for 25 years and helped a family member with hepatitis. I used a homeopathic remedy--Belladonna 200X given two doses ---one dose then a week later the other dose.
If I had Hepatitis I would definitely see a Homeopathic Doctor.
God Bless---Harry
