: I have had iron-deficieny anemia for 7 years. When it gets bad, I take 325mg of ferrous sulfate
: 3 times a day, and eventually it brings my iron and hemoglobin up. This time is different. Six
: weeks ago, my hemoglobin was 8.7 and my iron was 17. I have been on the iron regimen since.
: I just had another blood test; now my iron is 206 (too high) but my hemoglobin and ferritin are still
: low. It's as if the iron is not converting to hemoglobin. Has anyone had this problem? I have been
: taking Vioxx for lupus for 6 months. I am also having increased weakness and I seem to perspire all
: the time, whether I am hot or cold. I have had lupus for a long time (over 10 years) but this is new.
: Any ideas?
Have you tried Vitamin B12? To be effective B12 must be taken by injection or sublingual.
I did both and the numbness and tingling down my right side disappeared and fatigue and
weakness did also. My skin color is pink as before I used to be pale all the time. Diane
