: : I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge about a connection between depression and anemia. I don't have any info on either disease. Just a hunch I need to check out. So if anyone has both Dep. & Anemia please let me know.

: Anything I say should not substitute for advice from your doctor. Almost any medical condition can cause depression (especially if its a long term problem). There is medication for the depression that can work very well to help alleviate the depression. One suggestion would be asking the doctor about getting on anti-depressant medication and seeing what he says.

Try Vitamin B12. It must be taken by injection or sublingual. Sublingual B12 can be bought at a health food store. Depression should leave quickly.
