My ferritin level is 3. My hgb. 10.1. I have been unable to get any information as to what will happen when the ferritin becomes 0. Also, I have two differing opinions about the relationship of fatigue to low level ferritin. One hematologist said there is no relationship, the other said that fatigue does accompany the low level. I am unable to take iron supplements. And, I am desperately seeking information.
