Hi Genie,
What is the origin of your B-12 deficiency? If you cannot absorb it, why? Is it from IF Abs, not producing IF, or not absorbing in the intestines? You can always take the sublingual B-12 on a daily basis. But if you are currently deficient, I don't know if that's enough. If you cannot absorb B-12, getting it through your diet is useless. After, you determine the origin, consult a good traditional Chinese medicine and acupunturist who can suggest some treatments to heal your body so that it may absorb B-12 again. Many Western trained physicians don't believe in this and may discourage this, but you can always use Western and Eastern traditions together. Don't allow anyone to talk you into unnecessary invasive procedures. Especially at teaching hospitals.
Good luck to you!
