I have some questions about iron-deficiency anemia, and I can't find answers to my questions anywhere! How long does it take for the body to use up all stored iron? Can this type of anemia be caused by starvation of less than a week? Why does iron-deficiency anemia cause increased susceptibility to infections?
If anyone can answer my questions, or point me to a good source of information that can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!
