: For the past two months, I and others have noticed that I sleep way too much. I usually sleep about 6 or 7 hours at night, but then I will also take up to 3 naps a day... usually totally an additional 4-6 hours. I used to be more energetic and enjoyed going out on weekends, etc. but now I feel very lazy and lethargic. I would rather stay home and sleep than go out with friends. Also, I used to be very regular with my periods, but I am now 2 weeks late. (I have no reason to think I'm pregnant). I know anemia runs in my family, but I am not exactly thin (not heavily overweight either) but I though that being thin was common for anemics. Today, I was in the shower, and I got a very bad headache and fell over. These things never used to happen to me, but I've been noticing them more and more lately. Does it sound like I might have anemia? Please let me know what the symptoms are. Thanks, gina

: P.S
: I think I should also add that I am a freshman in college, and have been living in the dorms at school for these past two months. Could this have something to do with it? Or could this mean that I have something else, and not anemia?

hi, all what u said is symptoms for anaemia but there are other diseases that have same symptoms like leukemia so u must do blood count and picture at a clinic.
wish luck
