Anything I say should not be a substitute for advice from your doctor. There is plenty of information on arthritis here and on the Web. We may be able to steer you to the information but you first need a diagnosis from a physician. Only then could we help you with information that is knowledgable on your knee. Let us know if you get a doctors diagnosis of whats happening. There are many medications to treat arthritis (if that is what you have) and your doctor can help you with this too.
