The thumb on my right hand fused about 12 months ago and I was told that it was probably caused by reactive arthritis which could be due to a virus, cold, food poisoning etc.
I have been suffering from neck and back pain generally for 6/7 months now and thought same as everyone, it was probably due to sitting at a desk most of the time. Over the past month I have had 2 colds and now am in agony and can hardly move my neck. Have been to doctors and they have given my anti-inflammatory tablets and a cream for 3 days and said to come back if it has not improved after that. Am worried that it might be the same thing again. I know I have to keep moving my neck. Has anyone had a similar experience? Many thanks!
