I am looking for any feedback from people insured with Cigna. I have had RA for about 9 months and recently changed insurance to Cinga. My medication, gold injections, is not an approved drug with Cigna. I have had great success with this treatment and do not want to change. My doctor has submitted a form in hopes of getting the medication approved, but I have found Cigna very difficult to work with. Lack of interest and no follow-up. The approval was only to take 5 days and it has been 12. I am now late on my treatment, but fortunately have not had any flares. Yes, I have tried customer service, superivors, e-mail etc... I am interested in hearing from anyone that is insured with Cigna to see if this is a common problem.
