: If anyone has any information regarding a new drug known as Remicade, used as a treatment for rheumatiod arthritis, please mail it to me. I have an Uncle who suffers from this form of arthritis and I am seeking any information that anyone may have regarding this drug.
: Thank you.

My doctor is thinking of putting me on REMICADE since ENBREL is no longer covered by my insurance. My doctor said that REMICADE has to be given by IV. First an initial dose, then 2 weeks, then 4 weeks from the 2 weeks, then 6 weeks, then 8 weeks and then every 8 weeks thereafter. It is very expensive, around $2000 -$3000 a time. It may be able to be run thru as a medical expense since it is done in the Dr's office and then insurance might pay for it. This is the only way I will be able to afford it. Right now it is so new that most insurance company's don't have anything written on it so it is not covered yet. I will post here again as I get more info, and if you have any information please let us know or e-mail me at CRM1975@netzero.net Thanks
