When I was nine years old I had a bakers cyst on the back of my left knee, my doctor wanted to remove it by surgery, I am a diabetic, so my doctor wanted to wait until my blood sugars stabalized, being a juvenile with diabetes is rough, so keeping stable blood sugars was taking a while to achieve. My doctor then suggested issolation of the leg by putting a cast on my leg from my hip to my ankle, the cast stayed on for two to three months, but when the cast was removed the cyst appeared to be gone. I am now 28 an the cyst has re appeared but it seems that with daily exercise it maintains a small appearance.
