: My Doc has recommended getting injections in my knees of synvisc. Has anyone had experience with
: this?? Does it work-help??

I finished my last injection of Synvisc the Wednesday before Christmas. I have had two surgeries on my knee. The first one was at 13 and the last at 18. Have continued to have problems with pain over the years. Have done several courses of physical therapy and over the last year it had gotten to the point that I could not climb stairs or kneel. There was severe grinding of the knee with every step. I have minimal to no grinding now, can climb stairs, and kneel up to about 15 minutes. Still on occasion have some pain, but it is minimal and does not happen often. Seems so happen before it snows or rains, or if I have been on my feet for numerous hours. I would be willing to go through the injections again tomorrow if I needed to.
