: Do any of you use Viuxx and Darvocet together to control the pain of arthritis?

I use Vioxx which is an anti-inflammatory.
I also use Oxycontin , which is a lot stronger than Darvocet, to control pain.

Vioxx helps with the inflammation which means you aren't in as much pain BUT it is not considered a pain med (stand alone). You take what you need to get around. You want to drink plenty of water while taking Vioxx, Celebrex, Relafen or any anti-inflammatory. To get the inflammation out of your body you have to "flush" your system with WATER. Something cheap and readily available. I remember waking up in pain one night and instead of taking another pain pill (back when I was on 4 hour pain meds) I drank a glass of water and within a half hour I felt better. It felt good, weird but good.
