Hmm..my opinion is that exercise will help greatly, particularly weight-bearing exercise. Don't worry
about running and cardio. Focus on stretching and weights bearing excercise. Learning to
live with it sounds cruel - however, it's a reailty. Acceptance is the hardest part, especially when
faced with the "it's for the rest of your life" concept. reailze that it is a disease beyond your control.
You could be the best patient, eat all the right foods and try all the alternative therapies and try to
modify the progression of the disease (hopefully, with success, as many have!!!). However, don't
set yourself up for the big fall. I respect arthritis, because that's all I can AFFORD to feel about it.
