I am the mother of a four year old with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. He was diagnosed at 20 months and has had a severe case ever since. He was tested at three years old for psychological problems and was found to be developing normally. The only problems that were defined was the he was so spoiled !!!! I am not sure if this helps, if you would like feel free to e-mail me.
: I am interested to hear from anyone who has a child with Juvenile Arthritis who might have had conselling regarding the psychological aspects of this chronic illness.

: As a parent of such a child myself I am currently doing a dissertation on the psychological issues involved for both the child and their family.

: I appreciate any help you can give me.
: Many thanks
