: My grandma has gout, and I am looking for some useful remedies to ease her pain. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Taylor,
I replied to a Post last night about Gout on the Alternative Medicine Board on this site to margaret. You may want to read it. I have been into nutrition for 30 years and have studied and used Homeopathic Medicine for 24 years. I have had GOUT and helped 6 people with their diet and treatment after they were diagnosed by Doctors with this problem. The treatment with regular Drugs is hard on your liver with many side-
effects.
The alternative is:First you have reduce or cut out foods containing purines. Cherries or juice neutralizes purines and I have read that stawberries do too but I have never used them. Eat at least 8 cherries a day.I have found that it makes no difference if they are fresh, canned, frozen,or bottled. This was discovered by a college Professor by accident about 35 years ago.
It an interesting story.
A super good homeopathic remedy is Belladonna 30X potency -- take 6 to 9 doses during 2 days. This last about 2months. A higher potency of 200X taken once or maybe twice will help the pain longer. You will witness the near miracle of Homeopathy.
God Bless-----Harry
