: I have psoriatic arthritis. Constant pain in ankles, knees and wrists. Scaly skin on both knees and elbows and pitted fingernails. I even have the scaly patch at the tail bone. This will sound crazy but, I use RU2000 (vinyl protectrant in the green bottle) on my boat seats. As I crawl over the boat seats I get the RU2000 on my knees and within days my knees look normal. The pain is still there but at least I am not embarressed by the white/silver scales on my knees. Has anyone else tried this. My doctor suggested I write the RU2000 people and inform them of this.
I haven't heard about this treament, but I have found that certain things in diet has affected my psoriasis. Dairy, eggs and red mmeat seem to aggrivte it. i have psoratic arthritis in one of my fingers in my right hand. I have found that if I stay away from dairy and eggs it helps stop the pain.
You may want to check out foods to see if it helps.
