Hello everyone. I am new to message-boarding and am in fact here on behalf of a friend who does not own a computor. She has developed, I believe, rheumatoid arthritis is both hands, along with carpal tunnel. Where she works, involves, in winter, especially, cold and wet hands for 10 hours a day. She has worked here for 9 years and at present is off because of her condition. The company does not want to take any responsibilty for her condition although she showed no signs of it when hired. Has anyone else had similar problems and how did you drive home the fact that the working conditions were a definate factor in the development of her condition? Thanks and hope to hear from people with similar situations.
