: Hi, im 18 and iv had arthritis since i was 4yrs
old (14 years) I have polyarticular arthritis so i
have it in all my joints. Over the years i have
tryed dozens of medications, and suffered many
side effects with no improvment.
: At the momment my doctor has put me on
methotrexate, but it is very strong and makes me
very sick. Unfortunatly acording to my doctor i
don't really have any other options, the arthritis
dose not seem to respond to anything!
: In the past i have had many flare ups and been
given steroids, and had an operation on my finger
( unfortunatly unsucseful)My fingers and almost
unusable because they are so bent, my neck is
fused from c2- c6 and the doctors say there is
nothing more they can do.
: It is not a problem of chnaging doctors, i have
seen alot, in fact an entire conference meeting of
rumetoligists was held just for me.
: But with no luck, i know it's a slim chance but
i wanted to know if anybody had any ideas that
could help,as it seems im out of options.
Hi, JCA! My husband has severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and has been on Methotrexate and Prednisone for a few years. He recently had some flare ups but we didn't want to increase his meds. A Nutritionist suggested te herb, Feverfew and also Fish Oil capsules with Omega 3. Also, Evening Primrose Oil capsules. Best placeto get them is a place like GNC, etc...After a week now my husband is doing much better. Swelling and joint redness much improved. Hope this helps some.
