I have a really weird question. I've developed a Bakers cyst behind one knee which has caused swelling of my lower leg as well as the knee and am therefore having it drained. What's weird is that since childhood (we're talking 50 some years!) I've had severe itching in my knee and elbow joints that no Dr. has ever had a clue about. I've even tried all the alternative medicines. The only way I can get any relief is by hyperextending my knee or arm which in turn causes tightened and sore muscles. I also have Fybromyalgia so you can imagine how doing that sets off the FMS. Needless to say I try not too but there are days I want to scream! Now I have this cyst behind my knee and when I started reading all your info. and the term bracing kept coming up it hit me between the eyes.I can't help but feel all 3 are connected and the core is the itching. Ever heard of this or have any ideas? Thanks
