Dermies are pretty god at telling what causes that problem. Do you by chance take any meds that thin out the skin? Have you talked to the Dermy about stuff you might do to aggravate the condition? If it is rosacea then it is treatable. Might want to invest in a straw hat or at least wear a baseball cap. Give the ointment a chance to work.
