My vioxx was that it hardly worked at all, and this was the opinion of several other people I know. My uncle tried it, and it gave him a lung infection (one side effect), and another tried it and it upset his stomach. You would have to ask your doctor about combining the two because combining them could ruin your health, who knows, especially regarding the liver or kidneys. My father's doctor is a professor at a good medical school and suggests taking 8 aspirin a day in these doses: three, two, three but it was more effective when taking three, but no more than 8. Darvacet I have heard is very effective, but doctors won't presribe it to you on long term. I am still experimenting. I'll take three aspirins in the morning with breakfast when its worse; three with lunch and two at night. Hope this is any help.
