I have been on prednisone for awhile and I was tappered off about six months ago. None of the other drugs worked for me.Either they caused hair loss or something else. Prednisone seems to be the only one that helps me even in a dose as small as 5mgs. how long can you stay on this drug in a low dose like this and will it cause long term affects in this this small dose.
