: Hi Kelly, I have severe rheumatoid arthritus that has been with me for about 16-17 years. I just recently had my left foot operated on since the pain became so bad I could hardly walk. It's mainly in both feet and both hands. My fingers on my right hand are angled over to the right almost at 45 degrees, but I can still bend my fingers although some of the fingers are really shot. Kelly are you seeing an arthritus Doctor or a PCP. You need professional advice concerning your condition. That must be really scary to think your neck could possibly fuse together, but don't let me raise any fears in you because I really can't say and have never heard of anything like that happening. It must be unsettling to you for your thumb to do that. Kelly sometimes my neck will flair up fairly bad that it feels like I need a Chiropractor to put it back in its place. These flair ups can cause me to lose motion in my neck to some extent. Feels like bone against bone. The weather can have an affect on it too, causing inflammation and swelling. Maybe you can try taking a hot bath and a soak. Or you can wrap hot towels around your neck. Maybe it can help. Keep me posted Kelly about your condition, for I am kind of curious as to what it may be. Take care. Kevin B.
I have come across a product that some people with by osteo and rheumatoid arthritis have had success with. it is linked to bee venom therapy -don't know if you know anything about it but it seems to produce good results. There are a number of ways to experience the therapy - through actual stings by bees, injections of bee venom or there is a topical cream tht contains bee venom. I know the cream has worked for several people. It's sold by www.naturalhomeremedies.com and is called Bee Venom Balm. Check it out it might be for you!
