Both Celebrex and Vioxx are new technology meds, but the safety profile of the two is different.
Please read the package insert of any drug before you take it. You will find that Vioxx was NOT
approved for pain for more than 5 days (which the previous appender said was the time period it
took to reach 'steady state' and that increased blood pressure and peripheral edema are side effects
of Vioxx, not Celebrex.
