I have been on Enbrel and methotrexate for about 5 months. It has helped my shoulder pain
and stiffness quite a bit - I suffer from Polymyagia. At first my sister, a nurse, was giving me
the shots but now I do them. I have had no infection problems or any other. The medication
costs $1,000 a month but I am fortunate that my HMO is covering it completely, under the
major medical portion. I also have osteoarthritis which has not been affected by the Embrel. I
take Indocin for this. Good luck.
