: I have sero-negative inflammatory arthritis. It affects almost every joint in my body. Feet, knees, hips, shoulders, fingers, neck and jaws. Recently, though, my worst pain has come from neck and jaw joint pain which causes me to have a constant headache. The jaw joint pain is also affecting my teeth and causing them to ache badly. Chewing is difficult and eating is becoming a challange. My jaw joints are swollen and painful. Has anyone else experienced bad jaw joint and teeth pain? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes! I finally got to the bottom of the jaw/teeth pain.....I grind my teeth at night while sleeping. I do it so stongly that I have headaches from it and trouble chewing. My dentist made a guard to wear over my teeth while sleepin and what a difference! I hope it's just a minor problem like this for you too!
