I live in Virginia. I had my left knee replaced last year. The hardware alone (hospital billed price) was just over $15,000. Altogether they billed my insurance company about $32,000. These costs vary and you can shop around. Give several hospitals a call and I'm sure they'll be glad to tell you what to expect.
