: I'M TRYING TO FIND INFORMATION ON A PRODUCT CALLED REMICAID, USED FOR TREATMENT OF RHUMITOID ARTHRITIS WHAT IS IT ? HOW DOES IT WORK OR DOES IT WORK
I recently had my fourth Remicade treatment. After the first infusion, I felt relief the next day. Several treatments are given working up to 8 weeks. The treatment lasted about 5 weeks for me. The last 3 weeks I experienced great fatigue, until I received the next infusion. Remicade is given in conjunction with methotrexate which depletes folic acid. So you have to replace the folic acid. I also take Celebrex and prednisone. This means visting the lab and my doctor often for side effects from all the medications.
