: : Hi! I have been having painful swollen feet since mid-April and now my right ankle stays swollen constantly, but no ankle pain. By the end of April, I was having joint pain in my fingers and wrists. Now
: : my shoulders are bothering me. My family doctor has
: : tested me for Lupus and RA but all are negative. I did have a high sed rate that confused him. He put me on Vioxx 25 mg and referred me to a Rhuematologist- but not untill July 7.

: : He blows off my swollen feet and ankles. Any advice or similar problems with your feet?

: Hi, Peggy,
: I also had the swelling in my left foot and it was hot and red, my doctor told me it was tendonitis
: probably caused by my arthritis. Just something else to consider.

Hi, Just let you know been taking Enbrel for couple of years doing great on it.Had all the painful feet, hands, arms, legs and knee problems that go with RA.Enbrel is great. Was taking Vioxx but kept getting urinary tract infections. My son-in-law has a high iron in his blood and this is causing some very painful swollen feet and hands.Might want the doctor to check your liver and do a blood test for HHC.
