Hey, Gav! Sounds very much like bursitis. Please see your doctor. He may refer you to an orthopedist who could give your joint a shot of cortizone or a cortizone-like compound that can relieve the pain for several weeks at a time. At any rate, you need relief so don't suffer, see your doc!
