I am 53 years old and just starting on Embrel. Have had RA for 10 years and have been on Plaquenil, Gold shots, Methotrexate, Azulfidine, Arava, etc. My Rheumatologist is starting me on Embrel. Is there a female about my age that can discuss with me the side effects etc. of this drug and how long you have been on it? My RA has been so resistent to all of these other treatments and I wonder if this will help. I just went on Retirement disability and Social Security Disability about 6 months ago.
