I have been having problems wirh my elbow since May. The DR. said I have Tennis Elbow, and gave me Vioxx to take and sent me for physical therapy. The therapy helped, but when it was stopped the pain kept coming back. Next I had the cortizone shot which really did nothing at all to help. The pain will almost completly go away for a few days to a week and then all of a sudden come back overnight and last up to a week again. I am wondering if this sounds like maybe it could be arthritis, and how a DR. makes a diagnosis if it is arthritis? I am wondering too if it could be anything else, and am curious as to what is causing the pain and stiffness to keep returning. Any suggestions or thoughts on this would be welcome. Thanks, Linda
