I have been having problems with my elbow since May. The Dr. said I have tennis elbow. He gave me Vioxx to take and sent me for physical therapy. The therapy helped quite a bit, but when it was discontinued the pain started to return again. Next I had a cortizone shot which did absolutly nothing. The pain will go away allmost completly for a few days to a week, but then return again just as quick as it had left. I was wondering if this could be arthritis in the joint, and how a diagnosis of arthritis is made. Also I am curious as to what is causing this pain and stiffness to keep coming back again and again. Any thoughts or comments on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Linda
