I'm sorry your mother is going through all this. It must feel very discouraging to her (and to you).
I work the night shift as a bridge tender, with little to do but read and watch TV. Just last night on the news (a major network - sorry, don't remember which one), there was a report about Jello helping with arthritis - in particular, arthritis in the knees. There is some special chemical in gelatin that helps. I came into the story mid-way, so didn't catch how often or for how long the Jello should be eaten. Personally, I'm going to try a (small) box per day, and give it a couple months, to see if it helps my osteoarthritis. Again, I didn't catch on the report if it was specific to osteo- or rheumotoid arthritis, or maybe both?
Good luck - and don't give up!
