: Has anyone heard of any other alternative surgery if someone is too young to have their hip replaced?

I'm with louise. I can't see an age that is too young for any joint replacement, if that joint is bad enough that one is badly crippled and in constant pain. It is a quality of life issue. I have not had to have a joint replaced as yet, but I can say that of all the people I have met that have had the procedure, and that is many people, I have not met one who was sorry they had the job done. I believe it is all about how much pain and suffering one is enduring, but doctors generally know best. If you're not real happy with the current doc, how about a second opinion?...,beau
