Hi everyone, I'm hoping some one can help me out here. To start with I have serious back problems. I'm 30years old, I've have two laminectomies and I have Degenenerative Disc Disease on 8 discs. I have serious pain, and numbness on my arms, back and legs. To top it all off, my jaw is out of it's joint, and I have serious dental problems. Now you are probably wondering why I'm posting on the back problem, and dental board. Well, my dentist can't figure out why my teeth are rotting. I do everthing right, and yet every 3-4 months a new x-ray shows more problems. He talked with my PC, and they put 1 and 1 together, and presumed that I might have some form of arthritis (?) They figured between my dental and spinal problmes that there might be some kind of connection, and ordered I have a bone density test. Has any one here ever heard of that before? I mean is it possible to have dental problems as a result of arthritis? I'm a little confused about all this, even though it makes terrible sense.
Any information at all would be very helpful. Thank You
Maria
