I also have RA and am taking plaquinil. I was taking prednisone also but I have weaned myself
off it. I have never had a flu shot and probably never will. These two drugs do suppress your
immune system, it is true, but that is all the more reason to not take a flu shot, as farr as I am
concerned. I might change my mind after this flu season, but I'm willing to wait and see.
I hope you know by now that the doctor does NOT always know best.
