: : Does anybody here know about alternative treatments for RA, like herbs and dietary supplements or acupuncture? Has anybody tried any of that stuff?
: There is a website set up by a person who claims that his RA was virtually cured by changes in diet. He is not selling anything, just putting out information that at least seems worth reading. That site is at www.topcities.com/science/jhackett/index.html
: Good luck.
I have had rheumatoid arthritis for 2 yrs.
I recently read a book called the Arthritis
Bible that gave me some good suggestions.
I am currenly on conventional meds. and
some herbs. I take 3 grams of Ginger/day
(as anti-inflammatory) and Milk Thistle
(acts as a liver tonic-helps remove toxins
from the body) There has been alot of tests
and data on medicinal herbs. They are help-
full for me. Many countries prescibe herbs
for illnesses and they are regulated, like
the FDA regulates drugs. If you do a search
on the internet for Arthritus and herbs,
you can be sure to find some info. on it.
