: : Has anyone ever heard of a medicine called Remicaid. My doctor said it is new and works like ENBREL except that it needs to be given by IV in the doctors office. I am on prednisone, methotrexate, enbrel, Vioxx, Folic Acid, Previcid, Calcium, iron, Darvacet, Glucosamine and Vitamin C. If anyone has heard of Remacaid do you know if it will react with any of these medicines? Any info would be helpful. thanks

: Chad,
: Did you ever learn anything more about Remicaid? I have been the same route as you seem to be, and not getting relief. If you have had any further information, I would appreciate hearing from you.
: Bob

I just began treatment with Remicaid. I had tried Enbrel but had a bad reaction so I had to stop after 5 injections. I received Remicaid by IV in the infusion clinic of my local hospital. It took about 3 hours. I had the treatment on Tuesday and I feel great - less pain, more ROM. I would highly recommend you explore this option. I am taking Plaquenil, Methotrexate, Folic Acid and Prednisone in addition to the Remicaid. Good luck. Kathy
