I read in my local paper that a recall has been announced of Proventil and Warrick inhalers, generic Albuterol, and Vanceril. Inhalers made from Sept 1997 to Sept. 1999 are included. Apparently, some of these inhalers managed to be distributed without any active medicines. My pharmacist told me that they would replace any of these products if I wanted them to, although if you have been using the inhaler and getting satisfactory results with it, then there is no need to replace it. Worth talking to your pharmacist about.
