Ihave had asthma for a number of years and have had a number of normal oxygen levels during an asthma attack. Why your doctor won't alter your medication is beyond me.No one knows there own disease better than themselves. My physician put me on accolate and after about 5 weeks i was able to cut out ventolin and reduce flovent from 1000 to 250mcg a day.If accolate is not as effective for you try sigulair but keep trying until you find a good combination.Dont give up,it is reversable.GOOD LUCK.
