3 Year Old Son May Have Asthma Help/Advice Please

My 3 year old son has had a mucus infection which developed into a cough and cosequently into a chest infection. The doctor has told me his chest is extremely bad. She prescribed amoxycillin and a volumiser with a salbutamol inhailer. She informed me that he could be asthmatic.

Last year was the same from December through March he was ill with chest infections and coughs.

If he has asthma it is possible it could be hereditary as there is a history of psiriosis, emphasima and arthritis. I suffer from the psiriosis and the arthritis.

Please let me know if I have a need to worry or is the doctor just being cautious. Are the symptoms my son has the same for asthma.

For some reason I have doughts, but there is a related history.
