Hi Nancy,
my son Alex is a bit like this with videos, and audio tapes. He does not get vioent as such, but covers his eyes, and runs out of the room. He will insist I keep the door shut. Some old 'favourites' he just can't tolerate at all now. It's like he can't bear the over-stimulation or something. I just go with it for the moment, and try avoid the stuff that he really opposes.
