My family and I live in Florida. I am unaware of any legistlation, however, there are sevices and classes that made up specially for autistic children. You will need to be dilligent in the IEP meetings if you hope to get any one-on-one ABA type services. If you are planning to move to the west coast of Florida, I would probably have more advice to offer.

: I am interested in any possible legislation info in the works regarding special education services in the state of FLA. as there are currently in Calif. and New Jersey. I have two children with autism, and it is critical that I have documentation of any laws that mandate quality programs in the state of Florida, not just the standard special ed. programs, but specific programs set up for these kids. I am planning to move. Any info. or contacts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
