: 1. Has anyone had their autistic child go through genetic testing ?

: 2. Has anyone brought their autistic child to a chiropracter ? I have and I realized that it was shortly after that, that I notice some huge changes in my son's behaviour and speech.

Genetic Testing: My son is Highfunctioning Autistic and my husband is a Genetic carrier for Cystic Fibrosis. Even though my son's Genetic testing came back negative for Cystic Fibrosis, they can not rule out the fact that my son might be a genetic carrier for C.F also. Our Genetic Counselor has stated that there is no Genetic connection between Autism and Cystic Fibrosis, but I beg to differ. They both seem to have the gut related problems,in ability to break down food properly, low musscle tone, poor weight gain, and constantly sick (low immune system) connections.
