: 1. Has anyone had their autistic child go through genetic testing ?

: 2. Has anyone brought their autistic child to a chiropracter ? I have and I realized that it was shortly after that, that I notice some huge changes in my son's behaviour and speech.

My son went through genetic testing and was checked for fragile-X. All test came back normal.
I get real frusrtrated because most of the testing
that my son has been through (DAN protocol)comes back normal with a few exceptions like a milk allergy and intolerence or a candida problem. And yes, when these issues are addressed he improves, but he is still autistic. I wish I knew more of what happened to my little boy and at times it seems silly, but I sometimes hope for abnormal results so that I can say "aha, that is why he is autisitc". Then at times I am glad that test come back normal because you then know,
for ex: chromosomes, that there isn't a problem in that particular area. But, then I go back to saying "okay, then what is wrong with my son?"
The research and the medical comm.(those docs who care) seem to have soooooo many different theories that at times it is all too confusing as well.
